Hello Good Humans,
Back in 2020 my wonderful and multi-talented amigo Jon Wegener and I started scheming on a collaboration, but the pandemic put that on hold; however, once the masks were lifted, we started planting the seeds again. Between his mad scientist woodshop and my muppet-like studio we worked up quite a few pieces - modified Paipo selections, and one of kind shapes and frames to name a few. All of it using reclaimed wood that I jazzed up with much color and aloha. We took these creations and went on the road, with an installation in Charleston at Hed Hi Gallery, then off to the islands with a show at the Green Room Gallery in Hawaii. The next stop was at the Montauk Beach House, at the end of the road on Long Island; then we took some planes, trains, and ferries up to Maine for the Grain Surfboards Re-Evolution event.
Here are some of the highlights of our partnership and odyssey, and of course what is muy importante is that these are the pieces that are still collectible! These originals are up on my website and available for purchase, but not for long!
